We exist to see the next generation transformed into Oaks of Righteousness

Lovers

Our aim is that our love for God will increase in every season. Not that we would only have a cool time with Jesus in our 20s, but that we would be more fascinated with God when we are 40, 60, 80 years old.

Learners

There are endless sides of God's face to explore. We never want to let what is holy become casual- we are committed to making God not only our most researched topic, but our favorite.

Leaders

We refuse to settle for the status quo and are committed to partnering with Jesus to see the renewal of our campus and city. In doing so, we are taking the responsibility to start living as ambassadors of the kingdom in the here and now.

Oaks of Righteousness

We choose to not emphasize any one domain of spiritual formation, rather we believe that when our affection, intellect, and purpose converge is when we begin to develop into the Isaiah 61 reality of becoming an "Oak of Righteousness". In other words, its when we begin to grow into all who God designed us to be.

Our Beliefs

We are a community rooted in the historic, orthodox Christian faith and committed to following Jesus with our whole lives. Our convictions are anchored in the clear teachings of Scripture and shaped by the core truths Christians have held across centuries.

We believe in:

  • The authority of the Bible as God’s Word
  • One God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man, crucified and risen
  • Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus alone
  • The work and presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer
  • The Church as the body of Christ on earth
  • The return of Christ and the hope of eternal life

These essentials are beautifully expressed in the Apostles’ Creed and Nicene Creed, which we affirm as faithful summaries of Christian belief.

As Rupertus Meldenius famously stated:
"In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love."

We don’t expect everyone to agree on every theological detail—but we’re passionate about pursuing Jesus together with honesty, humility, and a hunger for truth.

Our staff are credentialed with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries which is an affiliate with the Assemblies of God. While some in our leadership may hold nuanced views on secondary issues, our ministry stays rooted in the core teachings of historic Christianity.
