Seeking Him, Finding Him, Hosting Him
Prayer simply put is talking to God. We realize that no great move of the Spirit throughout church history is apart from prayer. Although, we do not pray in order to see God move, rather talking to Jesus is our means and our prize. We take the honor of partnering with the Spirit to bring heaven to earth.
Weekly Prayer Every Thursday 7am
Alabaster Nights
Every third Friday of the month we gather to seek the Lord's face. Like Mary of Bethany, we come bringing our everything to offer it to our king. Our adoration is our oil.
Our Prayer Values
His Voice > Our Voice
Jesus said ask anything in His name and it will be done. We pray listening to his voice instead of simply declaring ours.
Who > What
It matters less what we pray for and more that we remember who we are talking to.
Our Voice > One Voice
Corporate prayer should unify the body into common purposes, not one man’s.
Seek his Face before his hand
Jesus said there are many things that matter but only one thing necessary.
Proactive > Passive
We pray looking to be the answer. If we pray for laborers, we then declare, here I am, send me.
The response to Misuse is not No Use, It is Proper Use
Despite abuses of spiritual gifts, we do not want to stray away from the gifts of the Spirit, but rather learn how to implement them in a way that God intended.
